Roofing Dumpster Rental — Houston Tear-Offs Done Right

Sized for shingle weight, positioned for the chute, picked up the morning after the crew finishes.

Asphalt shingles are heavy. Picking the right bin and the right placement keeps you under the weight allowance and keeps the chute aimed where it belongs. We deliver Houston roofing dumpsters the right way.

Roofing weight catches first-time renters off guard. A typical Houston re-roof generates 4,000–6,000 lbs of shingles per 1,000 square feet of roof area. Get the bin sized right and you avoid both an undersized rental and an unexpected weight overage. We've placed thousands of roofing roll-offs across Houston and we'll size yours accurately the first time.

Frequently asked questions about dumpster rental in Roofing Dumpster Rental in Houston

What size dumpster for my roof?

Up to 1,500 sq ft of single-layer asphalt: 15-yard. 1,500–2,500 sq ft single layer or up to 1,500 sq ft of two layers: 20-yard. Anything bigger or with rotted decking: 30-yard. When in doubt, go up one size — overage on the 20 costs more than the upgrade to the 30.

Where should I have the bin placed?

On the eave-edge of the home where the chute will hit, with the rear barn door facing away from the house so falling shingles can't damage the door. The driver will position based on your call — be on-site if possible.

What about old plywood decking and underlayment?

Both go in the bin. Decking adds weight fast — if you're tearing off a layer of plywood plus shingles, upsize to the next bin.

Can you accommodate same-day storm work?

Yes. Storm season we add roll-off trucks to our same-day rotation. Book by 10 AM and the bin is on-site by early afternoon. After 10 AM, next-morning is the realistic window.

Are tarps included?

We don't supply tarps for the bin during the rental — Houston rain can fill an open dumpster fast and add hundreds of pounds of waterlogged debris weight. We recommend the customer cover the bin overnight or after the crew leaves for the day.
